Jet Li now looking healthier and fresh in new photos

Around May 21st 2018, photos of legendary actor Jet Li emerged which saw him looking very older than we expect.

According to reports back then, Jet Li was said to be battling with spinal problems and hyperthyroidism.

The Chinese actor himself revealed that he was suffering from hyperthyroidism as well as a heart condition, and a othermon-set injuries also have affected his health.

The 55-year-old actor said;

“I took medicine for almost two years and everything appeared normal and I thought I was on the road to recovery. However, it came back again. I had to calm myself down and not worry too much about it, My doctor said I needed to take iodine radioactive [treatment] to cure the illness but I didn’t take it and I just tried to avoid a high iodine diet. I am now completely cured.” .

Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland is overactive and makes excessive amounts of thyroid hormone.

It causes changes in a person’s metabolism and heart rate, and is usually treated through medication.
