“John Dumelo is not fit to be in parliament because he lacks leadership qualities” – Socrates Sarfo

The leadership qualities of actor cum politician John Dumelo has been questioned by the movie producer, Socrates Sarfo who believes he has a deficiency in that area.

According to Socrates, John Dumelo is not politically ready to lead such a delicate constituency as the Ayawaso West Wuoguon.right

In an interview, he asserted that the lackadaisical attitude of the NDC parliamentary candidate towards meetings and other industry-related events point to the fact that he is not fit to lead as a politician.

“It’s not every creative person that is a creative person for us to push him. No! There are creative people who don’t have what it takes to be in leadership . . .

John Dumelo, as industry, we meet and plan how to fix the industry’s challenges but I’ve not seen him in even one meeting . . . Such a person doesn’t have leadership qualities. He does not deserve to be given the nod to lead a whole constituecy,” he asserted.

John Dumelo has been elected Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and will be competing the sitting MP, Madam Lydia Alhassan, in the impending national Parliamentary elections on December 7th this year.

He has embarked on numerous developmental and philanthropic works to set the tone right and court the attention of his constituents in his favour.

There are doubts and hopes about he securing the seat but as we all know: “the end will surely justify the means.”
