Ghanaian actor and farmer, John Dumelo, has taken a step further to add value to the ginger that he harvests from his farm.
He used to sell them raw from the farm.
But this time, he has decided to add more value to the ginger instead of selling it raw to consumers.
It’s understandable that he could also have plans of exporting them to other countries.
Produced under his food company called Melo Foods, the aspiring NDC MP of Ayawaso-West constituency has announced that his ginger paste would soon hit the market.
“Adding value to ginger. Fresh from the farm. No preservatives. #Melofoods On the market soon“, he announced on Facebook.
John Dumelo has being a major campaigner for the need of Agriculture to be developed in Ghana.
According to him, if Africa can produce their own food, it will be a great way of boosting our economy and reducing imports from other countries.
He’s also an advocate for the legalisation of marijuana. He says this special herb and go a long way to boost our GDP.
