Presidential aspirant John Dramani Mahama granted interview in pidgin with BBC news Africa.
The leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) spoke purely in pidgin as he narrated how he lost the 2016 general elections and his expectations for this year’s general election.
According to John Mahama on why he lost the 2016 elections, he explained that the IMF initiative contributed immensely to their defeat.
He also said he is very hopeful of grabbing power in this year’s election because things are really tough for Ghanaians in recent time under the current administration.
“Since we leave office Ghanaians dema lives make worse, de economy make worse” – he noted.
Mr Mahama added that Ghana’s economy has crumbled under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo.
According to him: “dis economy be de worst under de Fourth Republic. Finance Minister dey cook de books.” “Since we leave office Ghanaians dema lives make worse, de economy make worse.”
From how he was able to hammer the points, it is very obvious that he is a ‘guy man’.
