Just after recovering from Covid-19, Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has netted his first goal of the season in Crystal Palace’s 4-1 thumping of Leeds United.

Ayew couldn’t start the season for 8 good weeks because he was self-isolating.

With Palace leading 3-1, Jordan Ayew squeezed the ball beyond the reach of Meslier, after receiving a delightful pass from in-form Wilfried Zaha, to hand the Eagles an impressive win.

His goal pushes him to 26 Premier League goals after breaking Tony Yeboah’s long-standing record.
