'Ghana dancehall is dead but I'm in to resurrect it' - Bulletman reveals

The former Burniton Music signee said once you add a local dialect to the genre whiles recording, it seizes to be a dance-hall.

He said; “it can never be dancehall if you are from here. There is no one going strictly by that. The moment you speak Twi, it is not anymore.”

“Stonebwoy does Afro-dancehall. He is smart so he blended the two. You cannot tow such line because it won’t blow, even if it does it won’t help the act. Beyoncé came to Africa and she did Afrobeat with our dancehall king. I feel like Afrobeat is what we have to accept as ours. We are not recognised outside with those genres otherwise Beyoncé would’ve gone to Jamaica for a dancehall act,” Kelvynboy added in Twi.
