Lady denies boyfriend entry into her house after he refused to help her in paying rent

A lady has messaged relationship coach, Abena Manokekame on an issue that ensued between her and her boyfriend.

She said her rent was GHC6,000 and she was able to raise GHC5,000 so it was left with GHC1,000 for the money to be complete.

She asked her boyfriend to please help her with the rest of the GHC1000 but the guy refused on the basis that they’re not yet married so he doesn’t see why he should help her with the money.

The lady on the other hand didn’t take offense as she sold some of her belongings to raise the remaining amount.

Fast forward a few weeks after, the guy who’s a doctor but stays in a family house asked to visit the lady but she gave him some requirements.

Aunty Abena,

Good afternoon, please post this for me and let ur fans tell me if I’m being unreasonable or not.

I asked my boyfriend for 1000gh to add to my 5000gh to pay rent and he boldly told me he won’t give me. Not that he doesn’t have, but he said he won’t give me cus we ain’t married. Fine!

I sold some cloths in my wardrobe, my Swiss Laces, Hollandaise, Woodin and GTP cloths very cheaply to raise the money to solve the rent issue and invested the balance in my online business. (I used to work in hospitality industry )

Weeks now, he’s been calling saying he wants to come over cus he misses me (He’s a doctor but living with his parents) so I told him I’ve stopped accepting visitors and I’ve realized it’s a taboo to host a man I’m not married to in my room, so my place di3 (as for) lie lie, I CAN’T host him again but we can hang out somewhere else.

He called later asking if I’ve broken up with him and I told him the truth that I still love him. So he said he feels for sex and I told him to go book a room and send me 500gh for transportation. I will charge him 1500 for my time and energy and my body he will be using to satisfy himself, cus he’s the one who needs the sex. When I also feel for sex, he can charge me and I will pay. After all we aren’t married so none of us should satisfy each other for free. He needs it, he pays, I need it, I pay. So if he sends de 2000gh, I will meet him at the hotel. This man got angry and cut the call.

Yesterday, I had a knock on my door, I peeped through the window and it was him. It was raining too but I didn’t open the door but I called him on phone that since my room is out of coverage area, he should find somewhere safe to stand. If the rain stops, I will come and talk to him outside. He hanged up and left.

Since yesterday, he’s blocked my line and his small sis called to insult me that I’m a vengeful litigant. If I say I will follow my heart eh, I will go and beat that girl rough rough but I’ve let it slide. So my question is where did I go wrong? If I’m at fault, I’m ready to apologise.”
