Back in the days, the only way to pay offering and tithe to church is by dropping them in special offering boxes placed at vantage points of the church.

But due to modernisation, offerings and tithes are now collected via online mediums — some of which are Mobile Money and Bank Transfers.

This is to make it convenient for those who cannot go to the ATM or the bank to withdraw their monies to simply send it through these afore-mentioned means.

Well, a Nigerian lady on Twitter @Ogeferari has revealed that she was about sending 27,000 Naira (approximately GHC409) to her church’s account but she mistakenly sent 270,000 Naira (GHC4,902).

She tweeted: “Transferred 270k instead of 27k into church account. Lmaoooooooogodpleaseoooooooo”

Her tweet has sparked several conversions on Twitter. A lot of people are telling her to take heart because God would replenish all that she has lost.

Other school of thought has it that she must write to the church and demand refund.

Popular Nigerian Theologist, argued that she must demand a refund. Below was his opinion:
