The latest beta update of whatsapp has come out with more than four people in group call.

The old versions of whatsapp only supports four people in a group call.

whatsapp has recently announced on it’s blog post that they are testing a new feature which allows users to add more than four participants.

However, whatsapp has finally passed the test and has now rolled out the support for eight participants in a group call.

The beta version of the updated whatsapp is available for both iOS and android.

iOS user can download and install the  2.20.50.25 beta update from TestFlight, whiles android users can download 2.20.133 beta version from the Play Store.

All your contacts must have the updated whatsapp in order to participate in the group call.

Whatsapp gives you the opportunity to select the contacts you would want to make a group call with.

Groups with only four members will not have the opportunity to choose the contacts to call in a group call. Whatsapp automatically calls all the four members.
