In a press release launched on social media, the SABC mentioned he died from coronary heart issues at a hospital in Pretoria on Friday, 11 March.
“The SABC Information division in Bloemfontein is mourning the dying of video journalist, Thabo Katsande. The 48-year-old died from coronary heart issues at a hospital in Pretoria yesterday afternoon (Friday, 11 March),” they wrote.
