Executive Director of Irbard Security Consult, Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim has said that the decision of President Nana Addo to lock down some places as a precautionary measure against the spread of Coronavirus would hurt him badly in the forth-coming elections.
Alhaji Irbard IbrahimHe noted that the lockdown will send the NPP into opposition.
Making his opinion known via his Facebook page, Alhaji Irbard Ibrahim wrote:
“A LOCKDOWN IS A BAIT THAT CAN TAKE PREZ AKUFFO ADDO TO OPPOSITION IN DECEMBER. THE CHOICE IS HIS TO MAKE. IT FEELS GOOD TO BE THE STRONGEST MAN In GHANA BUT MIND YOU, IT IS ONLY FOR A WHILE!
Trump is a smart guy. He says this lockdown thing won’t help him because his opponents just want it to continue so they beat him at the polls in the general election.
The world should move on despite Corona. It is becoming clearer and clearer that it is not Armageddon and our normal lifestyles have to resume. Just take precautions and move on with your life. You can’t live in apprehension forever!”
