The locks to the office of the Auditor-General of Ghana, Mr Daniel Domelevo has been changed while he is away from duty following the directive of the president for him to proceed on mandatory leave.

According to a Joy News TV publication, Mr Domelevo said he was unable to enter his office to attend to some pressing needs on Tuesday after he realized the lock has been changed.

A further check by the distraught Auditor-General from the board did not provide any results as he tried on countless occasion to unlock the door but to no avail.

On June 29, President Akufo-Addo ordered Mr Domelevo to take his accumulated leave.

The vociferous Auditor-General started was to take an initial 123 days but to start from July 1, but was later asked to 167 days to include 2020 leave days.

Many believe it was a calculated move by the government to get him ousted.
