John Mahama as part of his plans to develop Zongo areas has promised that when elected into power, he’ll build mortuaries in Zongo communities.
Speaking on Woezor TV, he said this is a very important thing that he seeks to fulfill and that the projects would be carried out with respect to the customs of the Islamic religion.
According to him, this forms part of the numerous intervention programmes which the NDC plans to put in place to develop Zongos and deprived communities when he takes over the governance of this nation in 2021.
In the interview, John Mahama said the mortuaries will help preserve the dead in Zongo areas.
