Former President John Dramani Mahama has marked a book of sympathy opened in memory of the late previous Central Regional Minister, Ama Benyiwa Doe.
This was on Sunday, September 26, 2021, following her passing on September 19 in Tema.
She was 73.
He was joined by a previous Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, his Special Aide, Madam Joyce Bawa Mogtari, and other high ranking representatives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Mahama, prior in a recognition, portrayed the previous Member of Parliament (MP) as a genuine sex extremist who supported ladies’ privileges.
She was first chosen into Parliament during the December 1992 general political race on the ticket of the NDC as MP for the Gomoa West Constituency in the Central Region.
