In a viral video, the thief was interviewed on how he goes about his scamming business.
And he said they are a group of 3 people, what they do is, they put up phones for sale on online platforms such as Tonaton and once you meet and pay them, they give you a sub-standard product.
And if you’re not smart enough, you will never realise that you were given a fake product until you get home but by then, they’ve made away with your money.
The man who caught this smart thief could be heard saying in the video that he’ll make sure he tracks them down and get them imprisoned.
