English Premier League side, Manchester City’s chairman announced works are ongoing to honor Kun Aguero with a statue outside their stadium.
The revelation came after the Club’s all time goalscorer, Sergio Aguero made his decision known to run down his contract with the Citizens and move elsewhere for a new challenge.
Club Chairman Khaldoon AlbMubarak in reaction said “ Sergio’s contribution to Manchester City over the last 10 years cannot be overstated.
“This is not yet the moment for farewell words and speeches. There is still much to achieve but In the meantime, it gives me great pleasure to announce that we will be commissioning an artist to create a statue of Sergio to live at the Etihad Stadium,” he added.
According multiple Reports in Manchester, club legends and former captains, David Silva and Vincent Kompany will also be honored with a statue alongside Aguero.
