Medikal busted for faking Mobile Money giveaway as winner turns out to be his friend

AMG Rapper Medikal has been busted for organizing a fake Mobile Money giveaway on Twitter.

From fresh revelations, the rapper once posted on Twitter that he’ll gift GHS1,000 to a fan who answers a question that he’ll ask correctly.

So after his tweet, a certain lady was first to answer correctly and attached her number to the answer as specified by Medikal.

Medikal sent the funds but it is emerging that the MoMo giveaway was planned because the number he credited to be the winner happens to be the number of his close friend.

A twitter user exposed the rapper in WhatsApp chat with a friend that reads “Medikal be scammer waaa… some years ago he asked a question on Twitter that he said he will give the person with correct answer Gh1,000 ….wey some girl he gave the answer“.

According to the Whatsapp chats that have been trending on social media, the father of one shared a screenshot of sending GHC 1000 to the lady and according to the narrator, he saved the number of the girl only to log into snapchat later to find out that the number synced with one Quame Zane, who happens to be a close friend of the ‘Omo Ada’ rapper.

This revelation points to the fact that Medikal and his friends planned the giveaway just for cheap hype.
