Medikal has spoken after winning his first two awards at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019.
In 2017, he got 7 nominations at this same Awards event and went home with zero award plaques.
So it appears it is of much joy for winning it this time round.
He was awarded the Hiphop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year and the “Best Rapper of the Year”.
Taking to his social media pages, the boyfriend of Fella Makafui could be seen holding the two award plaques and wrote:
“2 years ago I was nominated in 7 categories but went home with Nill (7-0)! I never gave up! I worked harder ! Never give up no matter the situation, stay strong and keep pushing.
Glory be to God ! Big thanks to everyone supporting my music, thanks for believing in me. Bigup all my fans who voted ! This is for y’all, you made this happen.Massive respect and thanks to Vodaphone Ghana Music Awards & The board of Chatter house for honoring me with two awards last night ! ??”
