The hidden faces behind the embattled gold trade hub, Menzgold has been uncovered by news portal, mynewsgh.com.
Hitherto, it has been only Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM-1), whose face and identity has been in the public domain although he was not in charge of managing the franchise.
Interestingly, NAM-1 himself, was hardly in town and was mostly globe trotting in quest of his several other businesses while the day to day activities of Menzgold was left to a solid team to administer.
MyNewsGH has uncovered the identity of the seven top powers that actually controlled Menzgold and we bring you the first two.
After blowing the covers of the entire 7, we shall put out rather jaw-dropping revelations on each of them.
The first is Isaac Wilson, supervision and Operations team manager.
The second is a baron, Elisha Owusu who is head of Bullion and Shipping. No Menzgold product leaves Ghana without him.
The embattled gold dealership firm, Menzgold yesterday said it has reached an agreement with its customers to scrap the payment of dividends to them.
The agreement is said to have been reached at a crunch meeting between Menzgold, customers and stakeholders on October 7, 2018 at Korkdam Hotel.
Menzgold says there would be no payment of dividends as earlier suggested.
“During the said meeting held around 3 pm, it was generally agreed that due to the challenges faced by the company and the fact that customers are no longer interested in dividends, it was wise to scrap the dividends,” a statement from Menzgold said.
The meeting, held between the board, management of Menzgold and customers numbering over 100 from all branches nationwide, was said to have been chaired by the Board Chairman of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Yaw Offei, Corporate Manager, as well as Menzgold International Consultant.
