She first gained widespread attention for her portrayal of Mikaela Banes in the critically acclaimed action picture Transformers (2007), a role she later repeated in the film’s sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).
She has also played Reagan Lucas on the Fox sitcom New Girl for its fifth and sixth seasons, as well as the title character in the 2009 horror comedy Jennifer’s Body, April O’Neil in the 2014 superhero action film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and April O’Neil again in its 2016 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016–2017).
