A Millionaire bought old Nike shoes worn by Michael Jordan during Rookie Season at a price of $560,000.

Days ago, Celebrities Buzz shared a piece of news on how a pair of Nike Air shoes worn by Michael Jordan during Rookie Season is being sold at $71,000.

The sneakers that were specially made for basketball legend Michael Jordan during the start of his career were offered for sale at an online market, Sotheby’s.

The bidding was opened through May 17 to coincide with the 35th anniversary of Nike’s launch of Air Jordan sneakers as well as the final episode of ESPN’s The Last Dance, a documentary series about the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls and Jordan’s renowned career.

Confirmed reports shared by CBSSPORTS.COM has it the shoe had been sold at a record-breaking price of $560,000.

The $560,000 price dwarfs the previous record for the sale of any shoe. According to Reuters, the previous record was set in 2019, when Sotheby’s sold a classic Nike running shoe known as the “Moon Shoe” for $437,500.

Nike Air shoes are very important to the Nike company. This is their main product that helped them to break into the world after it got endorsed by Michael Jordan.

Shoes, especially the older ones, remain expensive in the market.
