According to reports, he was sent on an official assignment by the state but he is unable to return since all the borders have been closed for COVID-19 sake.
There are many Ghanaians stuck abroad who want to return to Ghana but are unable to do so due to the government’s directive.
Mr. Anthony Akoto Osei, who doubles as the MP for Apam constituency has been staying and working in the States long before coming to Ghana for his political career.
Ghana is expected to open its borders by the end of this month providing the number of COVID-19 cases become manageable and the country is sure of not putting its health and safety into jeopardy.
