He rapidly became a crowd favorite with his defensive presence and shot-blocking prowess, garnering him the cry “Mo Says No.” He started 103 of his 142 games and logged 3,322 minutes of action, 1,092 points, 663 rebounds, 87 steals, 112 assists, and 255 blocks.
On July 28, 2020, the first day of training camp, Alie-Cox was added to the active/physically unable to perform list. The 21st of August 2020 marked his activation. Alie-Cox contributed five receptions for 111 receiving yards on September 20, 2020, as the Colts defeated the Minnesota Vikings 28-11.
