Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta region, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has put a follower of his on Twitter at his rightful place after he tried to question his status as an MP.
Apparently, Ablakwa made a post talking about the fact that the NPP government could shut social media down during the 2020 elections come December 7th.
He tweeted, “When the NPP tells you to ignore social media, traditional media and the polls – one thing is certain: they know they have lost the December 7 elections to the NDC.
It’s a terribly wrong strategy to treat Ghanaians on social media with such utter disdain when you should be addressing their legitimate concerns.
Social media sentiments are only a reflection of the real impact of your leadership on the people.
Another reason for Comrades in the NDC and indeed all Ghanaians to be exceptionally vigilant on voting day. ”

Soon after his tweet, a follower came to ask him “woow you call yourself an MP?”
Ablakwa after seeing his tweet didn’t let it slide as he replied accordingly.
In his reply, he wrote: “Yes, by God’s grace I call myself an MP, What do you call yourself?.
