MP for Asawase, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka according to a video captured by Citi TV used the thumbprint of his daughter to cast vote instead of his own.

In the video, the NDC MP dressed all white together with his daughter went to the polling station to vote for both parliamentary and presidential elections and it was his daughter who did the voting under his watch.

It is not clear if he’s trying to teach his daughter how voting is done but according to Ghana’s law, only people above the age of 18 can cast votes.

His actions has sparked arguments on social media.
