A Ghanaian Muslim identified on Facebook as Mustapha Abubakar is complaining about a billboard erected near Central Mosque at Kanda, in Accra.
In a post, he said the billboard that has rapper D-black and two ladies dressed in bikinis is an insult to Islam and its values.
He’s hence calling on the company responsible for the billboard to remove it ASAP.
“Can someone inform this company that the position of their advert on this billboard near our Central Mosque at Kanda is an insult to Islam and our values. Pls remove it.“, he wrote.
Other Muslim friends agree with him.
One Haruna Danlad Ibrahim wrote: “Such stupidity and disgrace must not be entertained around our national mosque like that!!! The company must be immediately call to order! #RemoveTheBilboardNow”
Another Muslim however said that he doesn’t see the position of the billboard as an insult.
Mohammed Lutfy Salifu FulaniDansarki as he’s identified also wrote: “This is not a insult to us masa. The billboard is not on the land of the mosque. They paid for the board to the advertising agency. Pls lets not be extreme about this.”
