When you mention the name Ghanaian musician King Ayisoba, one of his songs that comes to mind is ‘I want to see you my father’.

For all these years, we all sang this song saying ‘I want to see you my father’.

However, Albert Apoozore as he’s known in real life has come out to clarify that the title of the song is ‘Sue you my father not ‘See you my father’.

Speaking on what inspired the song, he said his father was spending money on other women while he was hungry, not going to school and living a wretched life.

When he talks to his father, what he’ll do is to insult him.

So what he did was to report his father to the elders of the village so that they can advise him.

That’s why the title is, ‘I want to SUE my father’, not ‘I want to see my father’.

Ayisoba revealed this in an interview with Regina Van Helvert on GHONE TV’s RHythmLive show.
