After its first season which was aired from 5 March to 4 June 2006, the show has been aired season after a season each year and is now on its seventh season.

The seventh season, which is referred to as Big Brother Naija: Level Up, premiered on 23 and 24 July 2022 and will end on 2 October 2022.
