Senior Special Assistant, Media, and Publicity to Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari, Hon. Garba Shehu has disclosed via Twitter that President Nana Addo has called Nigerian President Buhari to apologize for the demolition of Nigerian High Commission in Accra.
Garba revealed that Nana Addo personally called Buhari via phone call to apologize and also assured that he has launched investigations into the matter.
Last week Friday, June 19, a businessman who claimed to be the owner of the land where the staff quarters were erected, led some thugs and a bulldozer to demolish the building.

“GHANAIAN PRESIDENT TENDERS APOLOGY FOR DEMOLITION, ORDERS INVESTIGATION
President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana Tuesday spoke with President Muhammadu Buhari, expressing his sincere apology for demolition of a building on the premises of Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana.
In a telephone call, the Ghanaian leader told President Buhari that he has directed full investigation into the incident.
Earlier in the day, it further emerged that some suspects had been arrested, and will be arraigned in court.”
