As humans, we find or repose confidence in people we trust and believe they can never do us any harm.

However, life has taught us that your worst enemy is usually the person you see as your best friend.

The piece of advice here is for you to be very cautious with the kind of people you trust or the kind of people you are sure of their loyalty.

The biggest betrayals, blackmails, and heartbreaks come from the least expected place and persons. There will get a time where the best of friends will become fierce enemies…such is life.

Therefore, by now, you should be very sure of being sure about people you trust. A secret when reveled does not remain a secret any longer.

Likewise, a weakness when shared is no more confidential. Having good friends is a good thing and as long as you exist, there are some few people you will surely trust.

These individuals that you trust that they can be trusted can, in the long run, stab you at the back. I am not in any way saying good people do not exist…far from that.

As you trust people and repose confidence in them, be very selective of the people you share your deepest secrets with…people you reveal your weaknesses to must be few and far in between.

This is why your instinct must correspond with your discretion as you stay as vigilant as a snake because, for all you know, that person you trust and share your pieces of stuff with is the one killing you slowly.

Make friends and broker connections, but some things must remain between yourself and your God. Do not reveal it.

To conclude, remember these sayings:

  • Don’t fear the enemy that attacks you, but the friend that gives you a fake hug.
  • Strangers can become the best of friends just as easily as friends can become the worst of strangers
