The regional communications director for the ruling party, NPP in the upper west Region has been shot by unknown gunmen on his way to the upper west Regional Capital, wa.
Mr. Bukari Ali is said to be driving his way to Wa with his colleague and upon reaching a sharp curve around Bulenga, 2 armed men came out of nowhere and started firing shots at them.
Even though he was able to speed off from the attackers, he sustained several gunshot wounds and currently receiving treatment at the Wa Regional Hospital.
The level of attacks in the country is very alarming,especially on political position holders is never a good sign for the country going into a general election.
