Numbers don’t always tell the truth – Teephlow tells Award Organizers

Teephlow is not cooling down anytime soon as he takes a new route for his beef with Medikal by pouring some facts to industry mates and various award organizations.

The Rapper was hosted by Sammy Flex in an interview today Thursday 11th February where he touched on many issues including his recent social media rants with the AMG artist.

In his submission Teephlow laments about the manner in which musicians are judged this days solely by the views they generate on streaming apps with the help of available resources at their disposal and large fanbase behind them even with bad contents.

“We are in an era where people have followers and stuffs that are not organic, so if you are going to use numbers to nominate or award somebody. What about the people who are putting out all the quality stuffs but do not have the maximum resources to push it to the limit” Teephlow laments.

He added that moving forward, we have to understand such mentality is a big problem to the industry and Ghanaian music can only reach the international level if attention is given to quality music.

“It is a problem for us all as an industry to be able to understand that quality is what will push Ghana to the world, not this nyaa we dey support” he added
