Most people across the world especially Ghanaians hold the assertion that venturing into politics is very lucrative.
They believe one can change his or her hard times to millions when they become a politician.
That notion has done more harm than good to some politicians who receive dozens of pleas from their constituents or supporters.
Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency Hon. Kennedy Agyapong thinks otherwise.
He believes one of the poorest ventures and businesses in the world is politics.
According to him in an interview on YFM, a politician needs to be well vexed in terms of wealth and connections to be able to survive the heat.
He said many politicians receive thousands of demands from their supporters forcing them to go bankrupt in their quest to sort them out.
Kennedy Agyapong stressed that anyone who attempts to go into politics for his or her selfish gains in the long run gets disgraced.
