Some youths within Amasaman have been arrested and placed behind the ‘cooler’ for beating the hell out of a SWAT Unit Police Officer, Sgt Atta Mahama Mahanadi some few days ago.

Their arrest was made possible in a fierce swoop last night Monday 6th May at various locations within the Ga West Municipal district in the Greater Accra Region.

According to reports, the suspects would be thoroughly screened before those found guilty will be arraigned before court.

The motive is to serve as a deterrent to others.

However, many have asked who fights for the ordinary civilians when they are also attacked by some Police officers.
