There’s a viral video on the internet that captures the moment some passengers who arrived in Ghana got stranded at the Kotoka International Airport due to their inability to pay $150 COVID-19 compulsory fee for those travelling to and from Ghana.

The woman who recorded the video lamented that a 1-month-old baby was forced to sleep on a bench for close to 2 days after their arrival.

She also said they were fed only once and the adults were left to sleep on the bare floor.

She said further that when they asked when they’ll quarantine them, they were told that they can’t be isolated because there’s no money to cater for them since they cannot pay the $150 COVID-19 fee.

Social media users are divided over the viral video. A lot of people are blasting the Government saying the $150 is simply too much while others also said the stranded people have no reason to complain. Because if they’re able to buy their own plane tickets to Ghana which is worth thousands of dollars, then, they shouldn’t have any problem paying $150.
