As part of Labianca Company’s objective to support small-scale businesses, it awarded Madam Patience Trale and her husband a brand new truck for being the best customer for 2020.
According to the Managing Director of Labianca Frozen Foods Ltd, Etse Gadegbeku indicated that the truck was not given to the customer that buys the most but small businesses that are dedicated.
”We want to support the growing businesses and not the already established ones. They have what they need. It is the startups that we need to push hence this award,” he told DJ Nyaami in an exclusive on SVTV Africa.
He added that the company has several other intervention plans for the community regarding their social responsibility.
”Last year, we helped a polyclinic in Tema so this year we will take it to Ashaiman. We also look forward to helping prisons, and schools here in Tema,” he revealed.
Speaking to the recipient of the award, Madam Trale expressed excitement and shock for such a gift.
”When they called us to come here, we were not anticipating this. We are very grateful for this. The CEO is very down-to-earth, the employees are also good. I’ve never regretted buying from Labianca,” she said.
