Paul Adom Otchere responds to claims that he lied on freelance Journalist, Manasseh Azure

Host of Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Otchere disclosed on his show this evening that, allegations by Freelance journalist, Manasseh Azure, that he (Paul) propagated certain lies about him is untrue.

This response came after Manasseh made some wild claims that, Paul Adom Otchere told people that he demanded an amount of $100,000 from zoomlion for investigations he was undertaking on the dealings of the company. Manasseh further added that, Paul used his program to attack him on several counts.

Paul narrated his part of the story by stating that, Manasseh requested to hold a meeting with the CEO of Zoomlion, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong and the request was granted.

According to him, when the freelance journalist arrived for the meeting, He (Paul) and some others were present but Manasseh demanded that the meeting be held behind closed doors between him and Dr. Siaw. This again was granted.

The meeting was very brief and Manasseh left. Paul again indicated that, he later heard a rumor that he demanded for a certain amount and called him, which he denied. He(Manasseh) later called him to ask if the amount he heard was $100,000 but he(paul) told him, that was the first time he heard a figure since the rumor and that, he has no idea about that.

That was the end of the issue according to Paul. Nothing else happened between the two of them. He however did not comment on the allegation by Manasseh that he used his program (Good evening Ghana) to attack him.
