Paul Gregory Green, an Australian professional rugby league football coach best known for leading the North Queensland Cowboys to the NRL championship in 2015, also played in the 1990s and 2000s.
Following his playing retirement in 2004, Green started his coaching career in 2005 with the Brisbane Broncos as a specialist coach, focusing primarily on the team’s halves and hookers. He did this up until 2008, at which point he was elevated to the position of assistant coach for the Brisbane Broncos in 2009. In 2010, Green transferred to the feeder team Wynnum Manly Seagulls, where he worked as an assistant. He led the Seagulls to back-to-back premierships in the Queensland Cups in 2011 and 2012.

Paul Green took his own life. It has been established that he committed suicide. Police were summoned to a Wynnum property shortly after 10 a.m. this morning when a 49-year-old was discovered to be unresponsive, according to a Queensland police spokesman. He died on August 11, 2022.
