According to the TV host, some people thinks when you speak good English, that is a sure signal that you are intelligent where in actual fact, one can speak fluently but may not be intelligent.
It has been one of our problems in Africa especially when it comes to giving leadership roles. We often give the nod to one that speaks better English which is very wrong because speaking good English is completely different from one’s ability to acquire or applying knowledge and skills.
