A video has gone viral on social media which sees a Masters of Ceremony at a wedding making an announcement that food at the wedding event would be shared based on where you’re coming from.
People who come from slums will take the local foods while people from rich areas will take the continental dishes.
The MC in the viral video was heard saying:
“We’ll share the food according to where you’re coming from. If you’re from East Legon, North Legon, Trassaco, Cantonments, we’re giving you fried rice and jollof but if you’re from Nima, we’ll give you Kenkey without fish, on your way home, you buy the fish. If you’re coming from Pokuase, don’t argue for food. We’ll give you pepper and when you get home, you buy the food your self.

Some social media folks are saying that the video is a discrimination against the people of Nima and Pokuase whiles others are also of the view that the MC was simply cracking a joke to make the place lively.
