Educationally, Peter was a scientist and robotics expert with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence and a PhD in robotics from Imperial College London, the first such degree awarded by a robotics college in the United Kingdom.
Scott Morgan was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017 and given a two-year life expectancy.
Morgan had three major surgeries in 2018 to help slow the progression of the disease.
He died at the age of 64 on June 15, 2022.
