Musician Praye Tietia has blasted John Dumelo for saying his party members should catch and beat NPP people if they try to rig the elections.
John Dumelo’s order to have his party members arrest and beat NPP people who may try to rig the upcoming elections has fallen on the wrong side of musician Praye Tietia.
In reaction, Praye Tietia who is campaigning for the NPP, wrote on IG:
“@johndumelo1 you’re a fraternity colleague and I have nothing personal against you but this radical incitement de3, not not not. Let’s play politics devoid of violence.”
Background:
Aspiring NDC member of parliament for Ayawaso West constituency, John Dumelo has urged his supporters at a rally to beat NPP party supporters if they try to rig the forth-coming elections.
Speaking during a campaign event, Mr Dumelo said they’re all aware NPP is scheming to use aggressive and dubious means to retain power.
But he wants to encourage his supporters to be vigilant and when they notice that anyone wants to carry out such acts, they should catch and deal with them.
“This time we won’t say let’s leave it to God to handle, we must deal with the people ourselves”, he said.
