Nigerians are so happy after it was announced today that their president will be publicly addressing them over issues surrounding the outbreak of the Coronavirus in their country.
The announcement was done via Twitter after a section of Nigerians have called their government names and described them as incompetent.
President Muhammadu Buhari is one of the many leaders on the continent who is seen as not up to the task, sluggish and not tough.
Many Nigerians do not repost any kind of trust in him to see to the affairs of the nation. Unlike Nigeria, many African countries with reported cases of the Coronavirus had had their presidents address them on the way forward.
Even the president of Ghana, President Akufo-Addo, has addressed his citizens four times after the first recorded cases of the COVID-19 in the country.
Nigerians are highly expectant but lowly spirited as they await their president’s address at 7 pm local time.
