Reports have it that, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for coronavirus after downplaying the potency of the virus by referring to it as a “little flu”.
Mr. Jair Bolsonaro assured his citizens just this Monday at the presidential palace that he was in good condition and indicated that, the doctors said “his lungs were clean”
According to the BBC, the president has earlier urged regional governors to ease lock down restrictions which he says hurt the economy, and on Monday he watered down regulations on wearing face masks.
Mr. Bolsonaro is at least the third world leader to have tested positive for coronavirus after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who later recovered and the president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández.
