In a short ceremony held at the Jubilee House on Thursday, Massimiliano Tarricone, who is the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, did the presentation on behalf of AS Roma and thanked him for the unflinching support to the team during all league games.
AS Roma was founded in 1927 when Italo Foschi initiated the merger of three old Italian Championship clubs from the city of Rome.
Several Ghanaian footballers have played for AS Roma including Samuel Osei Kuffour.
