Prez Nana Addo during his 11th state address touched on the report that Ghana’s Minister for Health has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu is recovering in hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to Citi News report, it indicates that the Minister has been receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra over the past week.

Multiple sources in the medical team at the hospital who confirmed the information to Citi News say the Dormaa Central MP was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and is “in a stable condition”

Speaking on the minister’s health status, President Nana Addo confirmed the news as true. He wished Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu a speedy recovery.

Nana Addo also shared his condolence with families of the Mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly in the Western Region, Anthony K.K. Sam, who passed away due to COVID-19.

He announced that schools reopen tomorrow for the final year students.
