Profile of Tsatsu Tsikata: His name alone sends shivers and cold into the spine of people who had have had an encounter with him. The famous Lawyer TSATSU TSIKATA born on 1st October 1950 hails from Keta. He was brought up in Adabraka, a suburb of Accra.

He is academically intelligent and has a tremendous educational background following his older brother Fui to school. He attended Additrom Preparatory School and then Mrs. Sam’s Preparatory School, a school also attended by the late President of Ghana Jerry Rawlings.

Mr. Tsikata was also promoted from year 2 to year 3 at Accra Newtown Experimental School, catching up with his older brother Fui.

At the age of 9, he won a United Africa Company (UAC) scholarship in 1960 to start his secondary education at Mfantsipim School.

On completion of his five-year course, he gained admission into the University of Ghana, Legon, at the age of 16, where he obtained an LL.B First Class degree at the age of 18 years. Only one other 18-year-old had completed a degree program at that time.

He then won a post-graduate scholarship from the University of Ghana to Oxford University where he again obtained first-class honors in Bachelor of Civil Law which is equivalent to a master’s degree at other British universities

Tsatsu Tsikata is one of seven siblings who was fathered by TSIKATA GODWIN KOKU-SRU(Former sales manager of UNITED AFRICA CORPORATION).

Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata is married to ESTHER COBBAH, who bared him 3 children, and he is known as a lover of cricket(sport).
