‘Public officials are simply not supposed to be firing a gun openly at a crowded place’ – Serwaa Amihere blasts Hawa Koomson following her gun shot

Serwaa Amihere has blasted Hawa Koomson following her shooting incidence at a polling station yesterday.

Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya East Constituency Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson admitted to claims that she fired a gunshot at a registration centre in her constituency.

According to her, she took the gun from her police escort and went to the registration centre to patrol the place which led to her firing the firearm to dispel distractors.

In an interview, the Special Development Initiatives Minister said she did it with no ulterior motive and did not go to the centre to intimidate her competitor.

Following her life-threatening move, Serwaa Amihere took to Twitter to subtly call her out.

She tweeted:

“There are some things public officials are simply not supposed to do. Firing a gun openly at a crowded place has to be one of them.”

Other Ghanaians are super angry with Hawa Koomson and they used Twitter to register their displeasure.
