Pure water to be sold for 30 pesewas from next Monday

Sachet water popularly known as “Pure Water” would now be sold at .30p starting from Monday – 12th November, 2018.

Announcement of the price change was made by The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP).

In a press statement, the Association said a bag of sachet water will now cost GH¢3.50p when bought from all trucks and water depots.

They explained that the increase is as a result of “high production cost and distribution.”

In the statement, NASPAWAP added that “the price of a single sachet water remains at GH¢0.30p.”
