Ryan Patrick Kelly, a National Football League center for the Indianapolis Colts, was born on May 30, 1993. (NFL). After playing college football for Alabama, he was drafted by the Colts in the first round (18th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.
After redshirting his first year in Tuscaloosa, Kelly joined the team in 2012 and started 10 games at center, substituting in replace All-American senior Barrett Jones. Along with Kelly, Amari Cooper and T. J. Yeldon were named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. Kelly took over as the starter in his second season, calling plays on an offensive line that finished fourth in the SEC and 23rd nationally in sacks allowed per game (1.31).

Dave and Ann Kelly are Ryan’s parents. The unfortunate reality is that little is known about his parents. Kelly received a three-star rating from ESPN and was ranked as the No. 4 center prospect in his class. His home-state Ohio State Buckeyes signed third-ranked center Brian Bobek from Palatine, Illinois, over scholarship offers from elite colleges such as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, and Tennessee. Kelly verbally committed to Alabama in July of 2010.
